Joel is a Senior Consultant with RSI. He has 14 years of building envelope consulting experience.

Joel attended University of Minnesota studying Civil Engineering and then joined RSI in 1994. Joel’s experience also includes working for Superstructures Architects+Engineers (SSX) an A/E firm specializing in roofing and exterior restoration located in New York City.

In 2006, Joel re-joined RSI where his primary responsibilities are managing all aspects of our projects. Joel has managed numerous roof and waterproofing investigations, replacement, roof related seismic upgrades and exterior restoration projects throughout the US including restoring National and New York City Historic Landmark Buildings.

Joel is a Registered Roof Observer and Registered Roof Consultant. He is an active member of the Masonry Institute, Roof Consultants Institute, American Institute of Architects (AIA-Allied), and National Institute of Building Science. Joel also is a part of AIA-MN Building Enclosure Council and RCI’s Building Envelope Committee.
